Historic East Village welcomes 2023 RAGBRAI riders on this historic day!
Situated between the state capitol and the Des Moines River, the East Village has a lot to offer in a walkable/bikeable area. City and state landmarks, great shops and restaurants, the Des Moines River, and more. Come visit us and enjoy your stay!

| Clyde’s Fine Diner | On the 26th of July, we invite you to join us for a four course pre-fixe dinner, highlighting what makes Iowa summer great; fresh local produce, friends, family, and good times. Jump off the bike, get out of the humidity, and join us as we bring the backyard inside and add to those summer memories. By reservation only. |
| Des Moines Street Collective | Free bench time for all! Anyone can come in and fix up their ride to be ready for the next day’s leg. |
| HoQ | Food/beverage booth outside the restaurant on the corner of E. 5th and Walnut. We’ll be selling Chef Suman’s famous Butter Chicken Wrap in his homemade naan bread with local beer, canned cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Inside, we’ll be doing a 5:30 and a 7:30 seating of our special farm-to-table, three-course dinner with wine pairings. This is a ticketed event that is available for purchase on EventBrite for $65 per person (linked through our website, hoqtable.com). |
| LifeServe Blood Center | LifeServers will be handing out waters, stickers, coozies, and tote bags, cheering on and chatting with cyclists and passersby to educate on the importance of blood donation and LifeServe’s tri-state impact. To encourage donations, any cyclist who donates during the month of August and mentions the word RAGBRAI at the time of donation will be eligible to receive a limited edition CYCODONOR tank top. |
