HEV Welcomes Drake Relays!

Historic East Village extends a warm welcome to guests of the 2024 Drake Relays! While you’re visiting downtown Des Moines, we invite you to explore our diverse array of shops, bars, and restaurants.

Congratulations to all the athletes participating in the renowned Drake Relays. We wish you the best of luck in your competitions and hope that your time here is filled with unforgettable moments, new friendships, and incredible achievements. Business Name What’s happening this week:
Fleet Feet Des Moines Drake Alumni run on Saturday 4/27?  Each Saturday at 8:00 am, come run with us at Fleet Feet Des Moines! There will always be at least two routes, with one of them approx. 3 miler, as well as a longer route.
The New Northwestern Cocktail and Wine Bar Wed-Fri Happy Hour From 4-6 p.m.
Live Jazz Friday and Saturday night.
Peace Tree Brewing Thursday, 4/25: Throwback Thursday w/ $5 drafts all day. Food Truck: Kaaswagen 4-8 pm Open Mic Poetry UnPlugged 7-9 pm

Friday, 4/26: FAB (Food & Beer) Friday w/ TOP BUN Food Truck from 5:30-8 pm Live Music: Forrest McCurren 7-9pm (no cover)

Saturday, 4/27: “Blonde Fatale Day” with 5 versions of our award-winning beer on tap Blonde Flights available. Live Music: Jenny Kohls Band 7-9 pm (no cover).
