Established in 1978, the Iowa Oncology Research Association (IORA) offers central Iowans the opportunity to participate in over 100 national and international research studies.  Sponsored by the National Cancer Institute, these studies cover all areas of cancer treatment and prevention.  Research involving chemotherapy, radiation therapy, cancer surgery and immunotherapy is available locally.
