Hamilton’s Funeral Home & After Life Services, established by Lee Hamilton, has been rooted in the East Village since 1913. Hamilton’s relocated from 520 East 9th Street to their present location at 605 Lyon Street near the Iowa State Capitol in 1969.

The traditional interior offers dignified arrangement options for family privacy and reception. In addition, our Lyon Street location includes corporate administrative and advanced planning offices. The Family Services Center in the lower level offers ample space for memorial receptions and luncheons.
